Your contribution matters
Collaborating with EiAmazonía means becoming part of an educational network based on horizontal cooperation between Spain, Europe and the Amazon.
Your contribution supports both the projects we carry out in partnership with Amazonian indigenous schools and communities and the work we do in Catalonia: workshops, educational resources, school exchanges, and awareness-raising initiatives on interculturalism, global citizenship, collective rights, and climate justice.
EiAmazonia is the educational platform launched by the “Associació Guardians de l’Amazònia.”
Your support connects Spain, Europe and the Amazon
In Spain, we promote workshops, educational resources, training, school exchanges, and educational initiatives to address intercultural understanding, global citizenship, cultural diversity, and climate justice.
In the Amazon, we carry out projects in partnership with schools, organizations, and Indigenous communities, in accordance with their educational and community priorities. These projects include teacher training, educational resources, connectivity, ethical technology, and initiatives related to languages, memory, territory, and biodiversity.
Monthly contributions allow us to continue this work, coordinate activities, and keep the educational network between the two regions connected.
Other Ways to Get Involved in the Network
We have established a collaborative network between schools in Amazonian indigenous communities and educational institutions in Catalonia and other parts of Spain and Europe.
Volunteers, organizations, institutions, and partners interested in contributing to teacher training, school exchanges, and educational projects developed in collaboration with participating communities are also welcome to get involved.
Schools and high schools in Catalonia and other parts of Spain and Europe, can participate in the Network through workshops, educational activities, teaching resources, and exchanges with schools in Amazonian indigenous communities.
These proposals address interculturalism, the rights of indigenous peoples, climate justice, languages, the relationship with the land, and the ethical use of technology.
Participation can be tailored to each school through one-time activities, videoconferences, student exchanges, or more ongoing involvement with the project.
Indigenous communities can join the Network through their schools to strengthen their own educational processes and establish exchange relationships with schools in Catalonia and other parts of Spain and Europe.
This collaboration may include training and support for teachers, educational and collaborative use of digital tools, the development of original teaching materials, and activities related to language, memory, the local area, and environmental education.
The experience gained through the Escola Ixubãy Rabui Puyanawa and the expansion of the project to the Escola Estadual Rural Indígena Pedro Antônio de Oliveira, in the Nukini community, guide this work, which is developed in accordance with the priorities and decisions of each community.
You can support the Amazonia Intercultural School by contributing your knowledge or experience based on the needs of the project and your ability to participate.
Collaboration can take place in areas such as education, communication, translation, design, technology, the development of teaching materials, and support for educational activities and exchanges.
Each proposal is evaluated based on the identified needs, the characteristics of the collaboration, and respect for the priorities of the participating communities and educational institutions.
Municipalities, social organizations, universities, and other institutions can establish collaborative partnerships with the Amazonia Intercultural School to promote educational and cooperation initiatives.
These collaborations may include organizing workshops, awareness-raising activities, school exchanges, and other initiatives related to intercultural education, climate justice, and the rights of indigenous peoples.
Each proposal is developed with a focus on the shared objectives, opportunities for collaboration, and the priorities of the participating communities and schools .
Companies can partner with the Escuela Intercultural Amazonia by supporting both its educational projects and the operations and structure of the association that runs them.
These contributions help support the coordination of the project, teacher training, school exchanges, the development of educational materials, and the implementation of initiatives in partnership with indigenous communities in the Amazon and schools in Catalonia and other parts of Spain and Europe.
Business support makes it possible to diversify funding sources and reduce reliance solely on public grants, thereby promoting the continuity and autonomy of the project.
Partnerships are evaluated based on the track record and practices of each company, as well as their alignment with the rights of indigenous peoples, climate justice, respect for territory, and the association’s ethical principles.
One-time donations help support the development of educational projects carried out in partnership with Amazonian indigenous communities and the participating schools.
